Product Details
- Brenton Pad Bolt is probably the simplest, most common, and cost-effective way to lock a gate, garage door, or stable door.
- The Brenton Padbolt, also known as Padbolt, attaches to the front or back of the door or gate with screws and bolts. No need to carve or cut anything – if you can handle a drill, you can easily install it. It can be installed horizontally or vertically.
- To lock a gate, just slide the bolt closed and drop the padbolt handle into the staple on the padbolt body. You can also use a padlock to prevent the bolt from being opened.
- The padbolt fits through the staple, preventing it from being operated and keeping the gate or door locked.
- You can only unlock or lock the padbolt from the side of the gate or door it's installed on (unless you mount it high enough on a gate to reach over!). So, it's not ideal if you need to lock or unlock the gate from both sides. However, it's still a very budget-friendly way to secure a gate or door.
