The Diamond Bullnose Profiling Tool is a vacuum-brazed diamond profiling tool designed to create a rounded, half or full bullnose finish on the edges of Stone, Porcelain tiles, or Slabs.
It is designed for use with variable-speed hand-held grinders and polishing machines that have an M14 thread fitment. The tool operates in two halves, with each half spinning independently on separate bearings to ensure smooth operation. The top guide keeps the tool perfectly aligned with the slab, while the centre bearing maintains consistent shaping.
The Diamond Bullnose Profiling Tool uses top-quality diamonds that are vacuum brazed for maximum longevity. It is recommended to use the tool with water to prolong its lifespan. When used wet, the tool can last for approximately 100 linear metres on marble before needing a replacement, although this may vary with different types of stones.
Edge profiling tools for angle grinders are used to grind the edge of granite, quartz, marble, ceramic, or natural stone slabs with an angle grinder. These tools have an M14 thread, making them compatible with most standard angle grinders. The M14 CH BE shape produces a 45° Bevel Chamfer profile.
These tools can be used to quickly shape edges without the need for expensive machinery, making them ideal for on-site fabrication. They remove the necessary stock to prepare a stone edge for polishing. These tools are designed for dry working, although they do feature water feed holes and can be used wet, except for the 3mm and 5mm sizes which are for dry use only.
These tools must be used at speeds under 4500rpm, with an ideal speed of approximately 2000rpm, depending on the material.
